From the beginning of the times, people have tried to stay fit. For that they have tried much, but what if nothing has been tried in the right direction, everything has been wasted. The health and fitness industries have spend billions of dollars every year on supplements, special diets, equipments, health magazines, newsletters, health programs on television etc. all over the world, which has become a necessity over the years. Many people are bothered about health and fitness news, no matter it would right or wrong.
Being healthy and fit, is a true combination of wellness and fitness of body and mind. Our spirit, soul, or inner voice is a major factor in this experience. Truly well and fit minds and bodies are better followers of their spirit, and also spend more energy on the wellness of their spiritual aspect.
No matter how good our intentions are, we really can’t force ourselves to go to the gym three or four times a week. Having our hectic lifestyles, increased workloads, and various other commitments, we simply don’t have such time. As a result, our exercise routines suffer, which, of course effects our health. Consistent exercise also needs health diet.
Since no single food group can fulfill the requirements of the body with all the vital ingredients it requires, so it is important that we must consume a variety of healthy foods to get the nutrition our body needs. There are five main food groups: Fruits, Vegetables, Cereals and Pulses, Dairy, Poultry, Fish and Meat products.
A healthy balanced diet of these food groups provides essential vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber to the human body, which fulfills the requirements of the body. The food group serving size will depend upon various factors like age, body size, activity level, and gender. It is also important that one should also eat a variety of foods irrespective of food groups, because some foods among these groups provide more nutrition than foods from other groups. This will ensure that one gets the maximum recommended nutrition from the food group besides the food variety will make for an interesting meal as well, which is also became a necessity.
